For my Clock I chose to do a sea turtle. The shell of the turtle was made curved by putting wet clay overtop of a plastic bag that is curved and shaped like a turtle shell. I let the clay set for about a week to get set well. The legs are also curved as well. To curve the legs, I laid all four of them across a bunched up plastic bag and let them set. The head was originally going to be curved like the rest of the turtle. However, I later changed the head to a pinch pot that I textured with my fingers. I tried to attach the legs multiple times, but they never stuck on. So I just left them off and decided to glue them on after it had been glaze fired. The numbers 3, 6, 9, and 12 were glazed a lighter color to help them stick out. All the other numbers were painted a darker color. Both of the glazes used on the numbers corresponded with the green of the turtle.
