For the Slab Mugs project we had to create two mugs and create a stamp as well to stamp on both of the mugs. I created multiple stamps but ended up choosing the one that looked like a waffle. I placed my stamps in different places on each mug. When I rolled my slabs out to make my mugs I placed an extra piece of wood in the roller to make the slab thinner since I didn't want thick chunky mugs. One mug has more defined pinched sides and the other mug has less defined pinched sides. I wish that instead of making the mugs completely before I had stamped them though. I had to push down the stamp and hold the inside of the mug really well in order for the mug not to be dismantled from pushing the stamp on the outside. To make my handle, I pulled two handles from a wad of clay. I let my handles set overnight to keep their shape and form. Since the mugs have to correspond I am going to paint them not the same color but colors that go together.
